September 10: LendUp’s head of Government Affairs, Jotaka Eaddy, will speak at the Jack and Jill On the Hill Legislative Summit in DC.
September 18: Our co-founder and CEO Sasha is a featured speaker at American Banker’s Paythink conference in Phoenix, alongside Beneficial State Bank’s CEO Kat Taylor. Sasha and Kat will do a fireside chat on fintech and banks partnering for success (both for customers and business).
September 20-24: LendUp will be hosting an event at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference in DC.
September 28: Sasha will speak on a panel about how Artificial Intelligence is changing finance at The Economist’s Finance Disrupted conference in NYC.
September 29: Jotaka will be speaking at the National Black MBA Conference in Philadelphia, on how startups can close the wealth gap.
October 5: Jotaka will be speaking about women of color in tech entrepreneurship at the Anita Borg Institute’s Grace Hopper Celebration in Orlando.
October 10-13: Sasha, Beneficial State Bank’s Kat Taylor, the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program’s Joanna Smith-Ramani, and UC Berkeley’s Daniel Schneider will be presenting at SOCAP2017 in San Francisco. They’ll talk about building a movement to help stop income volatility across America.
October 16-18: Jotaka and others from the team will be headed to St. Louis, Missouri, for the next event in our Finance Forward series, where we talk about actionable solutions to Income Volatility.
October 22-25: Sasha will be speaking at Money2020 with our friends at GV about how their Design Sprint process helped us create many of our products.
