Background
Henry Foster is the Chief Executive Officer of LendUp LLC, where he leads the company's operations, strategy, and development of its consumer financial education and loan-matching platform.
Henry has more than 25 years of professional experience across corporate finance, financial operations, consumer fintech, e-commerce, and digital financial platforms.
His career began in corporate financial operations before moving into consumer-focused financial technology. Over the years, he has worked with financial data, credit and debt-related platforms, budgeting technology, online financial services, and digital business operations.
Henry's approach is centered on making financial information easier for consumers to understand. Borrowing can involve unfamiliar terminology, APRs, fees, repayment requirements, and different lender conditions. His goal is to make these subjects clearer so consumers can better understand the options available to them.
Henry Foster says:
“Financial information should give people a clear understanding of the decision in front of them. When consumers understand the potential costs, repayment expectations, and terms involved, they are in a better position to evaluate their options.”
Before joining LendUp, Henry worked across consumer fintech and digital financial services, including roles with Level Money and ReadyForZero. He later worked independently as a financial and consumer lending consultant, supporting projects involving lending information, financial platforms, payment processes, and online financial operations.
At LendUp, Henry applies this combination of financial, operational, and technology experience to the company's consumer education and loan-matching services.
LendUp operates as a loan marketplace rather than a direct lender. It does not originate, underwrite, or fund loans. Loan offers and their specific APRs, fees, eligibility requirements, and repayment terms are determined by participating third-party providers.
LendUp LLC acquired the lendup.com domain after the former LendUp Loans LLC ceased lending operations in 2022. The companies are separate entities and do not share corporate ownership or executive management.
